The project of "Vanadium liquid flow Energy Storage Battery Research and Development" of Leshan Innovative Energy Storage Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. in Leshan High-tech Zone won the first place in the new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection industry start-up group in Sichuan Division in the 7th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2018. Vanadium liquid flow energy storage battery is an important adjustment tool to realize the power market reform. This achievement has been successfully applied in Leshan, Panzhihua and other places, and has become a new highlight in the energy storage industry.


The company has successfully developed a 20 KWH battery stack, and established a 480 KWH demonstration project in Leshan No.2 Sewage Treatment Plant located in the high-tech Zone, which is the largest vanadium liquid flow battery storage demonstration project in Sichuan Province (80 kW / 480 kWh). So far, it has been in stable operation for a year, and the average efficiency over the past year is higher than 70%.

Luo Ke, a technician of the second sewage treatment plant, said that the new energy storage battery in the sewage plant not only effectively reduces the environmental pressure brought by the use of traditional energy storage equipment, but also helps reduce the electricity cost of the sewage treatment plant.
