Sichuan V-LiQuid Energy Co., Ltd., established in 2004, is a national high-tech enterprise that provides comprehensive solutions in the fields of power distribution equipment, power quality, and energy-saving for electricity usage. The company transitioned into the vanadium flow battery energy storage sector in 2016, establishing digital factories in various locations including Sichuan, Xinjiang, Ningxia, and Gansu. It has now developed into a leading enterprise in energy storage equipment manufacturing, integrating R&D, production, sales, and operations and maintenance.


For many years, the company has been deeply rooted in the electric power and energy field, focusing on cutting-edge industry technologies and adhering to a pioneering development philosophy. To respond to the national energy strategy development needs and focus on large-scale, long-duration vanadium flow battery energy storage, the company has assembled a top advisory team composed of industry experts and PhDs. It holds over a hundred independent core intellectual property rights and has mastered globally pioneering technologies such as stack laser welding encapsulation, 1500kW power unit integration, and the standard process for weldable integrated bipolar plates. Furthermore, it has achieved autonomy and control over key materials across the entire industrial chain. As a member of the Flow Battery Standards Committee, the company has taken a leading role in the industry.

2004

Establishment of Shengjia Electric

2007

Obtained certification for national encouraged industrial projects; Thyristor filter compensation device included in the national Torch Program project.

2008

Obtained certification as a growth-oriented technology advanced enterprise in Leshan High-tech Zone; Energy-saving project for mineral thermal furnaces listed as a key technological innovation project in Sichuan Province; Filter compensation for mineral thermal furnaces captures 30% of the national metallurgical thermal furnace market, with electricity quality improvement technology reaching domestic leading levels.

2009

Awarded titles of Innovative Pilot Enterprise and Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise in Sichuan Province.

2010

High-voltage zero-crossing switching device recognized as a key technological innovation product in Sichuan Province.

2011

Establishment of a power electronics R&D platform; development of industrial automation control systems; research and development of high-voltage zero-crossing switching components.

2012

Obtained full qualifications for military safety, production, and Level 3 confidentiality; initiated research and development of CRH power energy-saving devices.

2014

Officially listed on the NEEQ, the first enterprise from Leshan to do so; initiated research and development of electrified railway catenary automatic pre-assembly platform.

2016

Commenced comprehensive R&D on all-vanadium flow batteries, established a 6MW pilot production line and a key materials testing laboratory for vanadium batteries.

2017

Successfully developed a 5kW electric stack; deployed Sichuan's largest-scale all-vanadium flow battery system into operation; established the Innovation Energy Storage Research Institute; became a member of the liquid flow battery standards committee in the energy storage industry; achieved independent development of the world's first encapsulation technology.

2018

The Energy Storage Research Institute was recognized as a municipal-level industrial technology research institute in Leshan; successfully developed a 10kW electric stack.

2019

Successfully developed 21kW and 32kW electric stacks; completed the trial production of key materials for bipolar plates; signed the world's largest photovoltaic-side vanadium flow energy storage project with a capacity of 7.5MW/22.5MWh; successfully developed an intelligent electric stack production line autonomously.

2020

In June, the electric stack encapsulation technology was selected for the national-level key special project "Technology Empowering Economy 2020"; in September, the groundbreaking ceremony for the digitalized energy storage factory in Aksu, Xinjiang commenced; in December, the largest photovoltaic-side all-vanadium flow energy storage power station in China was connected to the grid (total installed capacity: 7.5MW/22.5MWh).

2021

In May, the digitalized factory for all-vanadium flow batteries commenced construction in Zhongning County, Ningxia; in June, signed a cooperation agreement with Datang in Ningxia to jointly develop photovoltaic targets and energy storage stations for the 14th Five-Year Plan; in July, entered into a cooperation agreement with Huadian in Xinjiang to jointly develop photovoltaic targets and energy storage stations for the 14th Five-Year Plan.

2022

In May, a cooperation agreement was signed with GCL System Integrated Technology; in July, an agreement was reached with CNNC Titanium Dioxide; in December, agreements were signed with Powerchina Group and Gansu Zhongbo Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

2023

In April, a cooperation agreement was signed with China Sodium Energy; in May, an agreement was reached with Anhui JinVanth Energy Technology; in June, agreements were signed with China General Nuclear Power Group and Powerchina Group.

2024

In February, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed with Sichuan Development Xingxin Vanadium Energy Technology Co., Ltd.; in March, a strategic cooperation framework agreement was signed with Inner Mongolia Electric Power Economic Technology Research Limited Liability Company; in April, selected as one of the first batch of flagship product chain leading enterprises in Sichuan Province; in May, signed an investment cooperation agreement on vanadium battery industry with partners in Yuanmou County, Yunnan Province.
