State Power Investment Group Qingtongxia Aluminum carbon reduction and emission reduction green electricity replacement photovoltaic composite demonstration project started construction in Hexi Town, Tongxin County, Wuzhong City, Ningxia.

It is reported that the project is the first batch of key construction projects in Tongxin County in 2023, with a total investment of 2.257 billion yuan, an area of about 20,000 mu, an installed capacity of 440 megawatts, and a new 330 kv booster station, which is scheduled to be connected to the grid at the end of October. After the project put into production, the average annual output of 854 million KWH, can save about 273100 tons, can reduce sulfur dioxide emissions about 159.62 tons, 166.45 tons of nitrogen oxides, 715300 tons of greenhouse gas, to strengthen the local power supply security and new energy system construction, promote economic and social development and ecological environment improvement has a significant role.
