Xinjiang V-Liquid Energy Co., LTD. 7.5MW/22.5MWh Phase I was successfully connected to the grid in 2020.

As the largest vanadium liquid flow energy storage project on the photovoltaic side in China, it is also one of the first optical storage demonstration projects of Xinjiang Development and Reform Commission, and it is also the only MW vanadium liquid flow energy storage project in Xinjiang.

The project is built in the Awati photovoltaic power station of Guangdong Hydropower in Awati County, Aksu Region, Xinjiang, with a total investment of 136 million yuan. The vanadium liquid flow energy storage battery used in the power station is based on the battery production technology independently developed by ®. The battery calendar life can reach more than 20 years, with a cycle life of more than 15,000 times.

After completion of the project, it will be jointly operated with the photovoltaic power station (Awati PV 2 Power Station) to smooth the photovoltaic output and participate in power market auxiliary services such as peak regulation, frequency modulation and demand response of the regional power grid, so as to jointly solve the problem of local light abandonment and improve the reliability and stability of the power grid.
